Change route WP icon?

Is there a way to change the WP icon in a route?

I know the icon for a mark that is dropped can be changed but cannot find how to change the route WP icon.

Hi,
Did you try double clicking or right mouse click on the WP? Should do it.

Globally change the WP icons of a route is not possible because the icon Diamond is hard coded in the source. For changing a single WP icon of a route go to the properties window with a right click on the WP icon.

However it is possible to change globally the WP icon for normal WPs, the triangle.
To do that search a line with "DefaultWPIcon=..." in opencpn.ini.

Yes, you can do each one individually by selecting an 'Empty' icon. But I'm interested to know if you can create a route without icons at each WP automatically.

And CarCode has answered that it can't be done globally.
