Anchor Alarm Works, but Not with Recorder Messages

HI,

I would like to ask if anyone experienced the same problems; It is the same with the new beta version 2.2.918; It might be a problem of a Asus EEE Pc which used N450 Atom, 1,6g, 2G Ram...

The sounds for anchor alarm do work if I select the default betls. I've recorder my own messages like WATCH ANCHOR. And the software then once enabled can reproduce it perfectly in "Test Alarm Function", however when the alarm is turned on, I can only hear WAT, WAT, sometimes in between WATC, WAT.....so basically it does not play the message till the end, but it repeats beggining of the message.

Is there something wrong with my computer or custom messages should not be longer than a second or two?

Can you post here by attachment one of your recored audio files for testing?

A .wav file format is not acceptable file format, so I can not attach it to the post. Please send me email and will send it to you directly (I tried individual files as well as zipped or changed the .wav into .doc. The server is too smart

I have a similar problem. The sound clips badly when activated, and gets worse when moving the cursor, but works perfectly if I open the toolbox dialog box, while it's active. Also if I move the boat back into the anchor watch circle the alarm sounds fine.

True on that, It is the same with the latest beta version from few days ago. However, the clips works fine on a high-end computer! So suppose this is the problem that playing messages tooks a lot of the comp's memory......or there is something else, but these are my experiences ... hope thing will start to work till spring ...
