Hi All,
I've been slowly (over several years) been re-commissioning a 1924 gaff
ketch, which has included various bits and pieces to facilitate
AIS reception via a cut coax aerial in the mizzen
mast.
This aerial is connected to
VHF radio which has had its discriminator tapped.
I have a C-30
laptop running Fedora26 and
OpenCPN successfully.
I've been attempting to install aisdecoder, and after some time and gentle application of patches I've managed to apparently successfully compile the program ("make" runs without glitches to 100%).
I thought I'd got to the stage where I could test things with a downloaded sound file, and then retire to the
boat and
plug all the
hardware together, congratulating myself on a job well done.
I ran this command:
Code:
$ ./aisdecoder-1.0.0/build/aisdecoder -h 127.0.0.1 -p 12345 -a alsa -d
but got this reply:
Code:
bash: ./aisdecoder-1.0.0/build/aisdecoder: No such file or directory
I hope someone out there may be able to assist.
