Re: AIS shipname and callsign presentation

Pavel
Many thanks!
But please check the other change:
+#ifndef PFNGLGETCOMPRESSEDTEXIMAGEPROC
+ #include "GL/gl_private.h"
+#endif

In VS2013 several errors like:
Code:
18): error C2373: '_GLUfuncptr' : redefinition; different type modifiers
20> c:\builds\ocpn\opencpn\include\GL/glu.h(286) : see declaration of '_GLUfuncptr'
20>c:\builds\ocpn\opencpn\include\GL/gl_private.h(420): error C2373: 'gluNewTess' : redefinition; different type modifiers
And in gl_private.h is GLdouble, GLvoid, GLint, GLsizei etc.. undefined.
Code before commit "Increase the allowed AIS version............." builds fine

It's the other way around. Apple OS X is more restictive than any other OS and therefore has not so much security holes, e.g. Apple does not support the Oracle Flash or similiar malware and I doubt an application using wxWidgets will ever find its way into the Apple App Store.

Gerhard...
Any facts to support this round of your claims? I see Flash Player installed on most of the Macs around and bought Poedit from the AppStore...

Re: AIS shipname and callsign presentation

A lot of thanks for your help so far!
I got the windows variant working.
The OSX doesn't work. I'm using the master sources but when I make the build it comes back with errors.
I've tried to use the 4.4.0 sources and adjust AISDecode.cpp. This time de make command works. After a make install i can't find the dmg file anywhere. I do find opencpn.app files, but they are unstable and crashed by startup.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong (I used the manual on opencpn.org).

Greets,
Brian

Re: AIS shipname and callsign presentation

Thnx bdbcat!
I have created a OpenCPN_4.4.0.dmg file.
When double clicked it will show all kinds of files. Also het opencpn.app. If I move de opencpn.app file to the applications folder is crashes when I start it.

All steps gone well, but it will not work on OSX.

Feed back info:
As I earlier mentioned there is a ship equipped with a possible version 2 AIS from where I didn't received any ships name. Now after this code change:
if( AIS_version_indicator < 4 )
the same ships name is shown by OCPN.
