How to improve the viewing angle on a console mounted GPS?

I have a console mounted Garmin GPSMAP 700. My problem is that the angle of the console is such that I can't read the GPS very well, especially with polaroid sunglasses on.

I need to improve the angle of the unit by rotating the bottom out from the console. Does anyone know where I might find some kind of adapter that would allow me to do that easily; need something like a wedge of starboard. Thanks

How about using a wedge of starboard?

Is this an offer?

By the way, welcome to the forum Hooksetter. All joking aside, what about a wedge of starboard? Don't know where you would purchase one ready made but a flat piece and a bit of work with a belt sander could produce one without too much hassle. The Garmin 700 isn't so large that it would take a huge amount of work.
