Found, prescription sunglasses at the Baths, Virgin Gorda

OK, I know this is a real long shot but nothing to lose.

Was in the BVI last week and we found a pair of sunglasses, snorkeling about 40' deep by the dinghy mooring at the Baths on Virgin Gorda. Thought they were just cheap sunglasses but when we got them to the boat and looked turned out to be prescription, Transitions Lenses.

Since it was by the dinghy mooring they were probably dropped by a boater, probably from the US. They were pretty clean so don't think they had been down more than a few days or couple of weeks at the most.

So, anyone missing glasses? Have any friends in the BVI in the last couple of weeks?

No but I'm thinking my eyes were rose tinted.

While you're finding things...Mine weren't prescription, but I lost a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers just this side of Bald Head Island last fall.

Shouldn't there be a lost&found sunglasses thread stickied somewhere?

Now that's an idea. An international clearing house for lost sunglasses. Could have saved me a lot of money over the years. I figure over my lifetime I've lost about $100,000 worth of sunglasses, if you include the ones I sat on in the car seat. Good thing I generally buy cheap ones or that figure would be a lot bigger.
