Not that it makes much difference. I can't find an actual patent for Mantus anchors that has been granted. Actually. Its quite funny, but I found a really nice patent for Manson anchors. Crazy, but the Manson patent looks very much like a Mantus anchor.

United States Patent: D763775
I suspect that is a Manson Ray.
Interestingly, if you look at the Mantus patent application, the abstract would cover every roll bar anchor on the market.
It may be difficult to find a point of difference to get a patent.

Re: Anchor DIY

Thanks for the files Bonaparte
Will be very handy to have on hand.
There are parts of the world where you simply couldn't reasonably buy a roc/tus/preme type anchor but can access metal and workers to fabricate a new one.

Well said Simi! Absolutely true. It is interesting how some individuals, incompetent in an area, feel the need to invalidate those who possess competentce and use it. They seem to think everyone else is like them.

I had no idea that you had designed your Milkraft trawler, or built her for that matter. Well done!

Good point ... but I would say that makes you pretty exceptional.

You, on the other hand. What a strange, insecure thing to say.

I only hope you're more competent at DIY-ing anchors than you are at spelling, pal.

I certainly do NOT think you are like me at all, and I am grateful for that.

Re: Anchor DIY

I have tested Mantus 6kg vs Rocna 10kg vs Storm 4kg.

I was shocked, take a look on the video:
