Several dismasting of privilege cats caused by poor rig design. Will you be next ?

To my knowledge, in 2017, 3 PRIVILEGE catamarans dismasted in similar circumstances: 2 reefs, stay sail or genoa partly furled, less than 40 kts of wind. The masts snapped between spreaders and gooseneck. Post mortem revealed that the shrouds were still intact and attached to mast and chainplates.
In my opinion a rig design fault caused or contributed to these dismastings.
My analysis of these dismastings is exposed in the attached *.pdf file.

The purposes of this thread are :
- To assess the risk by finding whether there has been other similar dismastings of PRIVILEGE catamarans.
- to suggest a make shift likely to reduce this risk
