Re: Sump Box

I installed a pressure switch in the shower supply line that automatically starts the pump when the shower is turned on. It then stops the pump when you shut off the the shower. There is a manual switch that allows you to completely evacuate the sump after you have finished.

Re: Sump Box

Never saw the point of a float switch for a shower. The grey water gums them up, they don't completely empty the sump, etc.

Just off the float switch and turn on the sump pump when you turn on the shower. Easy, foolproof, reliable.

The water is always bluer on the other side of the ocean.

Re: Sump Box

Easy solution:
Take shorter showers! Navy showers. I doubt I fill the sump before turning off the water.
