Re: Raritan Sea Era Toilet Tips

I have an Raritan Sea Era and can recognize most of what have been said. Mine is using salt water with calcification in the hoses as a result. (The boat is in the Med).
It sounded like others had problems with too much water in the bowl.
My current problem is that it does not pump enough water. I am considering a renewal of the diaphragm in the water pump or mounting a one way valve on the intake of the pump to prevent back flow in the raw water.

Re: Raritan Sea Era Toilet Tips

All this debate - I have 3 x Jabsco manual heads on my boat - all use only sea water - all pump to holding tanks all with a degree of care and attention work perfectly and never smell - just buy a proven robust unit that is used almost every where in the Med .

Re: Raritan Sea Era Toilet Tips

I have two sea eras. You can operate them with the seawater inlet closed. The inlet pump is designed to run dry without damage.
