Isotherm Water Heater Leak

I filled my water tanks yesterday to flush etc. After a while I noticed water flow in the bilge and traced it back to the water heater (nice and pink from the anti-freeze from lay-up). Water seems to be spraying out from behind the electric heating elements. Definitely fresh water and not engine coolant. I haven't taken the thing apart yet, but have a feeling it is a seal or gasket at the element. Anyine else ever seen this?

Mine leaks slightly from the pressure relief valve more or less continuously.
The rubber is tired.

You can try tightening up the nut that seals the element in. On my heater (yours may not be the same), it's a single bolt right smack in the middle that clamps everything together.

I cleaned out the locker today and crawled in there to the heater. Tightened the the center boat and was excited because it turned quiote alot, but it wasn't the problem.

With a closed look was able to tell it's leaking from the oval rubber gasket/seal. I saw these on the Isotherm parts page so will get 1 and ther pull the unit and replace. And hope of course!
