And I for one actually appreciate the posts, as I don't follow every blog of interest. It is good to be reminded every once in a while.

I just don't see why some people are getting their panties in a knot.

As I said before, CF is the one thing I have time for and enjoy this thread. If you don't think it's for you or needed-don't read it. That's the good thing about this forum-there is something for everyone. Let the rest get back on topic. Gloria

Some of the comments here make it sound like DO is hacking into her private blog and stalking her with a long telephoto lens and posting.

Geeezz, all he is doing is repeating what she has published in her own public domain knowing full well she is a public figure followed by people who she has never met.

I appreciate the update here as I prefer the highlights rather than visiting her blog direct. My only criticism of that might be that she may miss out on some click through money if her blog is set up to do that.

I also don't see the problem with "if I was 40 years younger...." comments, unless the poster is 80

Re: Laura Dekker's Circumnavigation

Since leaving San Cristobal, Laura, Bruno, Kiwi (the kitten) have been making good time. First day out, spotted a whale at a safe distance this time, unlike the distance of the one in SA. Also started out with a bad cold that she is getting over but Bruno has now caught.

hoppy, you got me thinking on the click for money thing for sponsored sites like Laura's site. There as been one poster here on CF (and has only posted to this thread) that is almost adamant we all visit the site rather than get our info here, and that is Hammond.

Hammond, by some chance is your name Kim?

For everyone that has the time, read her own words here.....
LauraDekker.nl de Jongste solozeiler ter wereld! -

And Hammond, if you are Kim rest assured I'll try and remember the link every time I post an update, and if your not Kim, will me posting the link each time work for you?

Laura's sister. But if I remember to include the link each time, will that make you a happy camper?

That's not the point. There is too much misinformation on this thread (and on your Lefora forum as well).

Feel free to correct me in both places. As I said, the Internet as time goes on, will be one big archive of history, and I for one strive to post accurately.

I for one would be interested what the misinformation is. I take it you will undertake to provide corrections as required?

With all due respect, that was a rather snarky answer to my question. As you choose not to answer a direct question, the credibility of your of comments diminish.

I'm sorry.

For example, Laura did not live alone aboard her Hurley 700 at an age of 10.
