Newbie Asking for Help !

I realize this is probably the wrong venue for asking for technical info. However, I cannot find the method for starting a new thread and have a burning question for anyone who might be able to help. I have a Whitlock Cobra Steering system (approx. 25 yrs. old) and it gives a clunk when backing off from turning to Starboard. No problem when backing off on steering after a Port turn? How to I post this question in order to get help from someone who may have had a similar experience?

What you need to do is click on Forums at the top of the page, scroll down to Tech Support & Site Help in the Welcome Aboard section of the page that opens and click on it, then locate at the top of the list of threads in the page that opens the "sticky" titled "Forums 101 - Posting, Accounts, Basics."
