Hmmm... a tongue in cheek post? Lorianne, since this post appears to have been allowed, I doubt that you've been blocked from here.

Well, where is the juicy posts or threads that we are talking about?
Heck, if it is a public secret, send me a PM and I pull out the pop corn and beer on my own....

Tip of the day:

To receive e-mailed copies of posts to thread, subscribe to the thread. Posts made will be sent to your e-mail account even if they are later 'removed for cause' (although this rarely happens). You don't have to miss even one bit of dirt!

But you didn't hear this from me....

Yes, very tongue in cheek, ...I'm Canadian and it's a long winter .

Can I just say that some of the "hijacking" has literally had me in tears from laughing so hard. I don't want it to end.

I came across this site while searching for my next boat and must say that though I'm still bitter and twisted from losing the last one, this community has given me new hope. I wish I had known about you 20 years ago as a single 26 year old living alone on her boat.

So, If there really is a site with even more irreverent contributors, I'll take it. I've still got two more years until the next boat...

P.S. the "blocked" reference comes from my conversation with Sully regarding "Hooch".

Also, can I just say that that some of the one liners that come out of this forum are "priceless".

Well, rbates, I'm waiting....

Yeah good idea, but first I have to find the thread...This is getting more and more dark and dirty..Which thread (s)are we talking about.?
Who is the members that keep following others around with personal attacks?....Turning into a soap opera here, lots of drama and mystery, but not much substance.

Just Following Directions

Okay, everyone, you saw Janet's example, so let's get busy:

1. Find Alan Wheeler's profile.

2. Select "Ignore User".

There, that should solve everything.

I wonder why Alan Wheeler hasn't responded to this?

He didn't have to respond. He probably just turned Capt Jeff's account to the 'off' position!

I have a Big red button tagged "FLUSH". Anyone gets in my way as I climb the ladder to the top of this here board, gets it.

Ummm, did I just say too much?

This thread begs the question,

What if we started a thread called "Thread Drift, GO for it!"?

Would it get locked/flushed?

Steve..I like that idea.
Don't know if it would work, but it would be interesting to start one thread and see where it drifts...couldn't hurt anything as long as it relates to boats in some fashion and stays away from politics, religion or other verboten topics. Just call it "Random Boat Thoughts" or something similar.

Well Mr. Administrator(s), is that a go?

It's already up and running. It's called "Off Topic" forum. Where subjects should remain "loosely" related to boating. ;-) :-)

Turn about is fair play, I guess.

I couldn't resist the joke, and it didn't much matter to me whose profile Janet used.

You're a good sport, Alan.
