Nope, there's no "mo" in it - it's downhill conoeing.
This was the first year. We won first two years, then Dick was seriously injured third year, then several people seriously injured fourth (& last year) races held (late 70's or early 80's).

The radar gun clocked us at 69 MPH at the bottom of the runout.

Definitely one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen on this site!

We used to do that on a shovel at a ski area I worked at as a kid. Maybe 40MPH... not 60!! Wow.

Discovery Canada (TV) featured a downhill kayaker last night. He claimed a new world speed record (kayak) at 50 mph.
