Looking for Sailing Community . . . and Opportunities

I live in Traverse City Michigan where i am surrounded by the Great Lakes and some incredible freshwater sailing. I am a 52 yr old F looking to connect with sailors who need cook/crew and are willing to teach and off me an opportunity to expand my knowledge base. I have done some crewing on a 36 ft traditional rigged schooner on some day sails and crewed on a 42 ft racer /cruiser during weekly races here in the Bay. I would like to expand to doing ocean going deliveries and would be glad to start in any capacity. I am compatible with most any type of crew and am a very hard worker and lots of fun!

Greeetings and welcome aboard the CF, Gypsywyld.

Here's hoping you make some suitable sailing connections!

Welcome to the Forums. There's a crew wanted/ crew available thread here that may help you make some of those connections.

All the best.
