Marinas in the Annapolis area?

I'm in the process of getting my first boat, and I'm new to the Maryland area. I'd appreciate any recommendations on marinas for a 36' boat with shoal draft in or around Annapolis. The priorities I have are:
1. Reasonably easy to get to the bay, e.g. Liberty Marina on the south river is a bit too far out.
2. Reasonably protected during the annual tropical storm since I am out of town one or two weeks of the month.

I've also noticed the fairways here in Annapolis are much much smaller than what I am use to in Seattle. A place with reasonable fairways would be nice, but I fear that may not be possible.

I belong to Annapolis Landing Marina , 980 Awald Dive, Annapolis,MD. The dockmaster's name is Doug Smith. They are a first class marina with fair rates and a beautiful pool. it is not a working marina and therefore there are not a lot of transient workers.
