Bahamas pump out locations

Is there an easily referenced, concise source listing all waste pump out stations in the Bahamas?
Sailing an older boat with only a Y-valve...can flush overboard but can’t empty the tank without a pump out.

May be time to upgrade ...

Add macerater pumps or add manual sanitation pumps or r/r heads with composting heads...

Composting heads may be the ‘easiest’ to install but probably most expensive...

Has anyone added either macerating pumps or manual pumps to a MSD where there were none before? Lessons learned?

My boat was like his, when I replaced my tank I had another bung added to the bottom of the tank and connected a macerator pump to that, for the specific reason that I didn’t want to spend six months in the Bahamas with a half full tank.

However I think as you leave Lake Worth or wherever you leave. Stop by a Marina and fuel up and pump out, then it’s only three miles out until you can open the valve and direct discharge.
Ought not be a problem, just so long as your not counting on pumping out in the Bahama’s, cause I don’t think you can.

It’s interesting how many people on the morning radio net were appalled by there not being any pump out boats in Georgetown and were almost demanding them, and not one ever suggested a water quality survey to even see if there was a need.

But many very closed lagoons full of mooring balls and wall to wall boats, the water has to be pretty disgusting. That’s one reason I avoid those places.
What do you think the water quality is like in the middle of this rather large mooring field?

Are there even any pump outs in the Bahamas?

Btw last i was at Hopetown there signs saying no discharge because of the low flow. Pretty rare in the Bahamas i think.

The sign requesting you to use your holding tank is going in on the right, but those boats don’t move, that much is obvious and I don’t believe there is any kind of pump out.

Most of them probably make water in there too.

it's pretty straightforward to install an overboard whale pump to a thru hull .. then tee off the pump out line. keep one closed when using the other. that's the way it is on my boat.
