Re: Dinghy anchors

But alas, not the galvanized model of the Mantus Dinghy Anchor the OP was wishing for.

If they all would just offer the tiny one they use at boat shows in the little sandbox that would be great.

Re: Dinghy anchors

I use a 2kg stainless steel Bruce style claw anchor. It works great and it's compact enough.

Re: Dinghy anchors

Guardian G-5. Smaller and significantly less expensive than Fortress 7.

Re: Dinghy anchors

Bought a Rocna too and find it hard to set and it scares the heck out of me in a little inflatable boat. Use the Guardian for day to day because it is small and use the Fortress 7 for setting in big waves or extended period.

Re: Dinghy anchors

How about this beauty. Good for dinghy or dining room, $24.95 solid brass. I can nearly guarantee you’d have the only one. Don’t know about bronze chain.

Re: Dinghy anchors

Look for 5 kg herreshoff anchor

It’s a folding anchor . Fits into a small canvas bag

So good that it won’t last long

Your fellow cruisers will steal it
