Hauling a Lagoon 380 in Marmaris or Leros or..... where?

I need to leave my L380 on the hard Dec~Feb, then I intend to carry out extensive composite, s/s and electrical refits.
I have been with another cat in Yachtmarine, Marmaris in 2011, but I hear that Turkey is not economical any loger.

I am considering Leros Marina, but any advice would be very much appreciated!

Additionally, I am going to cruise in Turkey in Oct and November, visiting friends etc. Have plane tickets from Istanbul, so I am confined to Turkey or the Dodecanese.

Hi Stefano,

The answer is simple; if you don't have any work to be done on board you go to Leros, noone can beat their prices in Turkey.
Otherwise, Marmaris is the best option.
Meanwhile I am in Orhaniye Cennet Yacht Club Orhaniye in October, you can come and moore for a day or two for free. We can then discuss where you should go

Cheers

Nice to hear from you my friend!
Yes, I need to do a lot of work, but most (especially composite transom extensions, I can handle myself.) But then I need help with fairing, painting, electrical and electronic work.

However, I only have a limited amount of cash left....

Are you no more at Albatross?

No, our ıacht service is still in Albatros. We just moved the charter boats to Netsel marina. Orhaniye is our secondary base for charter, with a small jetty, restaurant and small hotel.

A presto..
