Now we need the type/size of dinghy.. if its a little slat floor or hard dink its not going to be up to the job.. if the guy was old school he likely rowed and kept it small.. 2/3man.

You mean strapping a dinghy alongside that maybe you've never done before and wandering down the river under outboard in Ft Lauderdale isn't a big step.. the boaters and day tripper vessels charge...

My understanding was that Hubby has some sailing experience.. with a working engine and S'ly winds upto 15kts they could do the trip in 2 days and a bit at 5kts.. probably less if 3miles off the...

I did not get scammed as such.. the boat was one I had delivered to Tunisia as an owner assist from France.. considered it a bit crap at the time but.. one does not like to point out faults about...

Don't see why.. all that's in there is a non return valve to get past and its a much shorter gravity draw than from a fuel tank..
