It is, but funds are tight, maybe taking off of work isn't good and they are not old. So you drive down Fri after work, arrive before Midnight, sleep on the boat, get up and are working by 10 am,...

Its only 6 hours each way, no way does that pay for a "Pro" in parenthesis cause more often than not I have found that at least on engine work, I'm better than most Pro's.

Have good credit and or put up something else for collateral. In my case USAA gave the best interest, did the loan over the phone, and I don't think they cared it was for a boat.

Worst case it the ICW trip assuming no major breakdowns is three weekends if they cant get the time off, and maybe only two if they are lucky.

My boat was in much better shape when I bought her and had a survey and seatrial, but still I wanted the first three days or so in the ICW.
Worked out better too, cause I had fuel line clogging...

I am not sure why actually. Look at a section of fuel hose that is approved for in hull as opposed to one that is not, there is a marked difference. The primer bulb is not approved, it may be because...

Back forty or more years ago, before Sea Tow and Boat US, we all towed each other. Anytime you were out fishing and saw the cover off of an outboard, you trolled over and offered help, everybody did....

Yes, I towed a boat once that had flipped and dumped the people in the water, the whole time I was shadowed by FWC like a criminal.
Sea Tow was there but they couldn't afford them, Sea Tow...
