the problem is that an electric water pump has a constant flow, unlike the pump attached to the engine whose flow -thus cooling- varies with the engine speed

you have to alternate thick and thinner fenders depending on the rounding of the hull, for a boat like that, it's at least 4 fenders on this side to distribute the pressure
