Jamie at North Sails in Halifax is a very good rigger. He has done some on my Watkins 33 and I have been very happy. He can provide wise counsel on the options. |

Properly installed, they work fine. I have had one wired to my Standard Horizon plotter for more than 8 years and there have been no issues. |

I believe they send an ultrasonic beam through the hull which picks up the existance of water movement. Suggest checking the Airmar website. |
