Re: trimaran neel , bad news,,,

Yes, It shows up as private - I'd like to review. I've sailed a Neel 45 - in "spicy" weather, didn't have any movement or excess noise that would indicate structural probs.

Re: 2 cool cats anchored off Black Rock in Maui

Ok so I took some pix. The only reason I cared to ask was I couldn’t identify them and thought forum members would help. Thanks in advance if you can help.

2 cool cats anchored off Black Rock in Maui

I saw them just north of black rock. One looked like possibly a gougeon design and one a wharram perhaps. Anyone know the story there??

Re: Catamarans sailing the Great Lakes.

Hey!

Not really a prob with sailing them in the Great Lakes, but other than TomCats, not too many there. I was sailing my F28R on Lake Superior and saw a TomCat there, but that was the only cat...

Re: Composting toilets or wet sewage systems

Well, I belong to the group who had a marine head and a porta potty, then switched to a C Head. I was using my F28R on weekends and for trips of a week or two. I sadly sold my F28R and now sail a...

Re: Looking for first Cruising Cat

Mark, thank you so much for the great information. Really helpful! What a beautiful boat. I probably have to lean a bit more toward comfort in order to keep the Admiral happy, but my Corsair was...

Re: Looking for first Cruising Cat

I love the pix and philosophy behind the Maine Cat 38. If it's ok, can you give me a short rundown on how the boat has worked for you? Do you have any youtube vids or otherwise? Great lines and I...

Re: Looking for first Cruising Cat

Yes, I agree that my initial choices are widely variant. I also agree that it is unlikely we will deviate from diesel drivetrain initially. With regard to sailing performance, I am used to routinely...

I have one of those in my F28! (C-head). I love it and swap it into my sprinter RV conversion when not sailing.
