I'm wondering who is planning on cruising the
Bahamas and south for the 2012 season. I've got my wife and I plus 2
kids that are 7 and 10 now. We've done extensive cruising and have had a blast but feel it might be a good idea to find some other
kids of similar ages that might be going our way.
We don't follow a schedule when we go. We are tentatively planning on stopping in the
Bahamas then sailing down island with a return through heading west through
Jamaica and then along the
Yucatan.
If you are planning on something similar, we might want to cross paths or perhaps even try to parallel our path. We are active. We dive and
fish all the time. We are not the reading crowd that sits on a
boat or in a local store all day. We tend to find the unpopular and uninhabited islands and stay there till a 2 days before supplies run out then make a run for it to reload.
