Newby since 2010 and finally have a vessel fit for sea trials and wringing out this Fall in the NC coastal waters. Looking forward to diving in and getting wet within the folds of CF. Thanks for still being here.

Thanks Celestialsailor, nice to know since there were only nine 44's built. Having taken her down to the knees and back up with new glass, chainplates, rig etc. I concur with your word "stout". Best wishes.

I saw a fixer awhile ago and thought they looked like a choice cruising vessel.

Yes, i got close on a Cal 2-46 a while back but think this vessel is more my style without a spade rudder and with a center board. Both are nice and roomy and the Cal engine room is amazing.

Welcome aboard CF, jas. Hope you get to shaking her down offshore, too. It's a wonderful feeling to know your boat's hell for stout. At anchor, with the board up, the boat just lies quietly to the breeze.
