pirate New to this site, new to me boat

Hey all,

Just introducing myself. Some sailing experience in SF and Monterey bays
Many moons ago. I recently purchased a little trailer sailer ( Balboa 22 )
And I’m looking to learn and connect to the sailing community.

Happy New Year and welcome to the forum Dave,

Hoping that you'll gain help and useful information from joining and posting in the forum.

Always do feel free to post your own thoughts, questions and ideas here on CF. The forum only works when people post, and 95% of members here seem reluctant. Don't be a lurker.

Trailer sailors are great fun. My first sail boat was a Hartley 18 and I learnt much. But eventually the setting up, launching, re-trailering, and packing up became too much, and it was far far easier just to just step off the dock on to a keeler. That said many advantages in a TS; way less dockage fees, no need to antifoul, you can sail in lakes, or even go hundreds of miles away to sail.
