New to forums.

Hi all,
A bit about me and sailing. My father introduced me to sailing when I was 7 in a small northern Ontario town of Kapuskasing, actually Moonbeam's Remi Lake. The first boat was a Sunflower that a good friend of mine ended up destroying when I lent him the boat. I would sail and fish as much as possible. Dad upgraded to a 14' Sea Witch. Manning the jib was my job. About 30 something years passed and I found a 25.5' Hunter in my price range. I wanted to see if the passion was still there. It didn't take long to remember all the good times. I sail on Lake Huron now that I've moved to Kincardine Ontario and have upgraded to a C&C 34 that I had moved from Kingston. The gentleman that I bought it from has been very helpful in putting her back together. Him and his father stripped the deck of all the hardware and repaired all the soft spots when he passed away.
I have deck plans, but still can't figure out where some of the hardware goes. Also, I have an opportunity to arrange the deck to accommodate myself to sail solo. I've rebuilt all the winches, they've been neglected so they just needed to be cleaned and lubed. Any photos or suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: New to forums.

Welcome aboard IN Good Spirits! Do you have deck organizers (cheek blocks in a row) and clutches and a couple of winches for bringing lines back to the cockpit? I'm sure you'll get plenty of tips here. Send some photos too.
