My husband, Bob, and I, Betty, were visited by Sally and Allan Seymour onboard our
Lord Nelson 41 sailboat in Rockland harbor,
Maine on July 11. Since they did not have their
dinghy with them (They keep their boat in nearby Camden) Bob picked them up in our
dinghy and brought them to our boat, Lady Nelson. Sally is very much involved with the LNVT Association,
Lord Nelson Victory Tug Association. Their tug is #42 which is the 37' Victory Tug, named "Sally W". Sally and Allan had never been aboard a Lord Nelson sailboat and were very excited to see so many similarities. We talked about the
history of the LN
boats and she said that she has contact with Lani Hart. Since our boat, "Lady Nelson" was owned by Loren and Lani Hart,
hull #54, Sally thought that Lani might like contact with us. Sally is giving Lani our contact information. We would love to know more about our boat from Lani Hart. Sally also proposed the idea that the existing LNVT Association be expanded to include Lord Nelson sailboats. The tugs and sailboats were built side by side at Ocean Eagle Yachts, Tiawan. What do you think?
