Intro..

G'day all. My name is Jules, many, many moons ago I was sailing the world as proffesional crew aboard 136' stinkpot, met my wife who worked as a chef on a 120' blowboat. Moved to Australia, 2 beautiful kids. Now, she said to me she thinks we should buy a 60' boat and GO!! YEEHA!!

Re: Intro..

A 60' sailboat? That's a lot of boat for two people. And associated costs will be astronomical. But then, you may be wealthy and have money to burn.

Lucky you,

Re: Intro..

Modern 40' boats can handle or get out of the way of just about anything out there. A 60' boat is nominally 3.37 times the size of a 40 footer. LittleWing speaks with wisdom.
