We have been messin' with boats for 35 adult years. The first 20 were spent racing one designs and coastal cruising on a wooden MacIntosh and then a Sabre 28. Our first born was conceived while living aboard the MacIntosh. Once the kids hit their teens and jobs took too much time, I went over to power and currently own a Seacraft 23 center console. ( I heard that) We actively flyfish the salt on Cape Cod for blues, bass and tuna. With 2 years to go to empty nest, we have listed the Seacraft for sale (YachtWorld) and started our hunt for a liveaboard so we can return to the islands and get our lives back. I hope to use this forum to help me in the selection of our next boat. I find much has changed in 15 years. I have enjoyed reading the responses to questions asked by others and the depth of knowledge and experience is amazing. This site is a tremendous resource. We hope to learn much - Capt Lar and 1st Mate LuLu
