I am Sheila. Mother of three, 'wife' of one sailor. While I love being on the water, sailing with my beloved, I also enjoy many other things this fine life brings.

However, I am here to learn a bit more about the sailing world and it's followers/lifers.
I know quite a bit, as I have been taught by an extremely good sailor. I also am a very good student.

While you might find yourself learning quite a bit here, I also suspect that many of us will enjoy hearing your viewpoints and opinions along the way. Sometimes when you've been doing something for a quite a while, the insight from a new voice is both useful and interesting.

Its good to have you here. Some sailor's wives think of themselves as "The Admiral" and some think of themselves as "The First Mate" and I do prefer the "First Mate" type but it is whichever you prefer.
