Hello from Toronto!
Hello everyone,
This place has been an indispensable resource for me for the past year or so while I do research. I figured I might as well join and stop lurking/start commenting and connecting .
I'm in the process of looking for a boat right now locally to do the Great Loop this coming year (Toronto to Bahamas and back) while I search for a sailboat project.
Looking forward to connecting with people who may be on/near the loop.
Cheers,
Jordan

Re: Hello from Toronto!
Welcome to the forum from a fellow canadian. (Alberta)
We bought our boat last summer just outside Toronto, in whitby. (Fantastic marine supply store there)
We went south through Oswego and Erie canals to NY. That was a fantastic trip, well worth doing. Then on to bahamas. (Also well worth doing)
We were planning to get back to lake ontario for the summer, but covid closed borders.
So now it's back to bahamas.
Hopefully we will see you out there in the next year or 2.

Hi from Montreal,
If you are looking for crew, let me know. A few (many) years ago, we took a boat down the Richelieu, Lake Champlain and the Hudson to New York. Stayed for a few days, then went offshore...
I'd like to do it again, but travel further south.

Hello and thank you! I definitely will be posting; I recently found a boat that I actually can't find anything on!
Looking forward to connecting, learning and sharing!

Hey Earl,
Of course! I am (hoping) to line up a boat between now and December so I can do the refit over the winter. I plan to do the start (covid permitting) as soon as we thaw out up here! Let's keep in touch!
