Hello from Stockholm

Hi,
My name is Radu, I'm a Romanian living in Stockholm, Sweden.

I have here in Stockholm a Möre 30, a 30 ft boat that was produced in about 100 samples (according to some websites). Unlike Swedes ( for whom sailing is a second nature), I had to learn about sailing late and I'm still learning a lot.

I'm so excited to meet a dynamic community here and ...keep learning from you until sailing time arrives here in Stockholm.

All best,
Radu

Buna seara! Haven't yet seen a sarmale recipe in the galley threads ... that's a serious gap.

Bună seara ! Well, I'm not so good at preparing sarmale, but let's fix the gap. Do you prefer the ones in cabbage leaves or vine ?

Hi there Sharon,
thanks for your message.
Well, Stockholm archipelago is not only cold but also frozen already. So the only way to get on the water for me is now skating (where I used to sail this summer). Sailing will start late April here.

All best,
Radu

Welcome Radu.

Where in Stockholm are you? I spent a lot of time there and miss it to death.
Wonderful city. I miss being able to look just about anywhere and see water.

Nice looking boat!

Hi Patient,

I live and work in Solna (Karolinska Intitutet area). The boat is now on land near Ekerö. Right now we have 5°F (-15°C) and it was -20°C this morning in Stockholm.

Finding water in about 10 - 15 minutes walking from wherever you are is indeed amazing. But I also like the possibility to go sailing after work, or just for one weekend during the long summer days.

Here is more pictures from this summer: möre 30

Thanks, SkiprJohn. Indeed, is an older design, when boat builders were caring more about design over utility;-)
