Hello From Minnesota!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around and finally decided to join. I have been thinking about packing it up and living aboard somewhere on the west coast for about a year now. I can't wait to start on this crazy adventure!

Hi, Koopa,

Welcome aboard.

It is heading into your winter, and our summer, ironically, we're headed to Tasmania, to keep cool!

Re: Hello From Minnesota!

Brrrrr! Lived in St. Paul (Mendota Heights) for ten years when our kids were small. Trailer sailed all the city lakes and many Northern lakes.

When we first moved there a neighbor told us that everyone is very outdoor oriented; skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hockey, ice fishing, even ice boating. I said that was great to hear but those were all winter activities and asked what they did in the summer. He responded, "on that day we play basketball." And I thought he was kidding!

Now we live aboard in Southern California. Keep the dream warm.
