Hello from Fort Myers!

Newbie to the forum. My Dad has had a Catalina 22 that I've sailed for as long as I can remember. He just recently made the switch to a 72 Morgan 41'. Were stoked! Plans to make it his home by next summer. Signed up for the abundance of knowledge and opinions on the forum, love it! Here's a so so picture of the new boat.

Welcome to CF from a currently boatless (unless you count the Jon boat and Gheenoe) member in Land O Lakes.

But...............ummm...................is dad going to gift you the 22?

The boat is amazing! We love it. It needs it's share of work, but sails better than we could have imagined.

He would gift the Catalina if I wanted, but storage and maintenance cash holds me back. I've got a landlocked money pit to deal with (house). I'm thinking of a Hobie to Put around on....

We will be making the Marco to Miami trip on the 13th, can't wait.

Re: Hello from Fort Myers!

Hi welcome aboard. I ply your home waters regularly. Im currently in tampa bay but will be headed down again after I stitch two jobs together that have been waiting on me. If you like to fish nows the time of year. We caught many kings and macs all the way up the coast last week. Smoker was going all day when we got to tampa. Around the cape romano shoals kings were everywhere.
