Hello from a Former Roberts 434 Builder

Now "gone aground" in Rocky Mts. of CO, USA. Miss the boat though! Spent 6 yrs. building Roberts 434 steel hull in Alameda, CA., named her SV Tin Can. Lived aboard her 8 yrs total, circumnavigating 33,741 NM. Sold her to UK couple in 2003 in Mexico who then sold her in Australia to NZ couple. They renamed her Enzwell & again sold her sometime last year.

Would love to know her whereabouts. Sharon & Lou Hunter

The bug never totally leaves ya, it may leave you alone for a while. Welcome to the forum, sounds like your beautiful vessel has seen some adventures, I hope you find her.
Cheers,
Erika

Not surprised that Gord, our resident expert on everything (and literally a 'detective' of information on the net) would find your boat - and a beautiful one she is! She looks incredibly well turned out for a home-made Roberts - I suspect that you must have some considerable experience in either boat-building, or carpentry, or both. Well done and welcome to the forum!

Sharon & Lou! It's ok. We've got your boat here. She's safe and sound with us in Singapore. She's not clocking up as many miles as she's used to right now as We've just been gifted our first offspring who lives with us here onboard. Hope Colorado's treating you well. Mail us direct anytime!
