Hello all. Finally!

Good morning all. Tough times right now but hope to see everyone on the other side of this worldwide shutdown. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and send well wishes to everyone on here.
I’ve been a member of this board for a while, always dreaming of the day when I could join the ranks of ownership. Well, alas that day has come. I’m the proud new owner of a 83 Seafarer 26.
She is in good shape. Motor three years old. She will need a number of things to bring her up to date as far as water system and electronics but she is basically ready to sail!
I’ll keep scouring these boards for recommendations and advice but it is just a pleasure to be here.
Thanks and be safe.
Chris

Re: Hello all. Finally!

What a lovely boat, Chris! (I had to look it up, though, since I don't know anything about them.)

You must be excited to get out there! I suppose we all are, but new boat owners most of all, eh?

Let's start a collective mental chant - May, May, May! that we might be able to generate the vibes that will bring it about...

G'Day Chris, and welcome to the joys (and anti-joys) of being owned by a boat.

Meanwhile, please fill out your profile for us. It is so much easier to help folks with their questions when we have the basics available, things like location, age, background, etc.

I hope the situation w here you are will allow you to get some sailing in soon.

Jim
