Hello! (finally)
I've been a long time reader (years n' years), and finally decided to register and say hello. I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia and own a Catalina 27. My girlfriend and I have done a bunch of great trips - Desolation, Princess Louisa, Gulf Islands, etc. and we've really started to enjoy the cruising lifestyle.

Lately we've been wanting to go further afield on a longer voyage...not necessarily in my current boat, but hopefully something a bit bigger. We've started taking more advanced classes and (frankly) reading a lot of great info on this forum!

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the months to come, but one day will hopefully become a contributor on this forum as opposed to just a reader!

Welcome Mark. Your sailing grounds are incredible, stunning -- wonderful. I loved the sailing I've done out of Vancouver, heading north.

... It's almost as nice as Lake Superior .
