Hello All !
Hope this finds everyone well. My name Is Katherine I am VERY new to the sailing scene. I never believed in love at first sight until I took my first sailing trip. It was the most exhilarating and, at the same time, peaceful experience I have ever felt! I'm hooked. I have already purged my life of most of the excess belongings and fully intend on (eventually) purchasing something large enough to live on and small enough to handle solo. I am mostly here to gain some knowledge from some salty ole sailors, and solicit your advice and opinions.
Farewell from NC!
Red

Re: Hello all!
Welcome aboard Katherine!
This is a great site to interact with other sailors both experienced and not.
I know what you mean about that first sail. Before I bought my first boat I crewed on a friend's boat one time. It was enough to hook me.

Welcome aboard.
Once you have the sailing bug, it's tough to ignore it.

Re: Hello All!
By the way, recent research has determined that the desire to sail is actually an expensive disease which at this point, has no known cure. No doubt the mad scientists in Brussels will spend the next ten years and $500 Million searching for a cure...
