Or another way .... where did the $30 go?

They paid $30. That was divided into:

cost of room $25 held by clerk
refunded $3 held by guests
stolen $2 held by bellboy

No guys, you are all wrong. The Bellboy is a Yacht Broker, and nature took its course.

Yesterday I stayed in the Holiday Express hotel in Malaga, Spain. Last time I stayed there was 2003 and it was 80 euro or $75. Yesterday it was still 80 euro or $120. Where did the other $45 go?
