Re: Whale watching boat sinks off Vacouver island with fatalities

"This is the second fatal accident to strike a vessel owned by Jamie’s Whaling Station, according to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. In 1998, two people died after a swell tossed the occupants of another whale-watching ship into the sea near Plover Reefs, not far from Tofino.
The ship, named Ocean Thunder, was carrying three passengers and one crew. Two passengers were rescued, while one passenger and the ship’s operator died."
