I have deleted several posts. We do not need to call each other names to prove a point. Be respectful of other posters.

Re: Stunning blog

But I'll tell you the truth - that I read quite a few youthy sailing blogs, and the inspiration I find in these and ALL blogs - young and old - isn't the money and flash and sex...it's in the persistence, the ingeniousness, and daily scraping by with very little to still meet their dreams. If they can do it with so little...damn, I can too.

Tate and Dani's site is a nice read Sundowner sails again | Tate and Dani. Cruisers in training.

Yes, very very good point. It's just the bantering and spamming that might have made us all upset.

Re: Stunning blog

I think their blog is interesting, especially the photography. I'm particularly glad to read that they recently had a very nice anniversary experience here on Nevis. The photo essay of their stay at Montpelier Plantation Inn was very professionally done.

I don't understand the negativism. It reminds me of the mindless bashing of the Bumfuzzles. There are many types of cruisers, and if you impose your own narrow definition on others, you're really revealing the limits of your own mind.

Re: Stunning blog

Thanks Hud3 for your earlier comment on our blog. Nevis was indeed beautiful and we can't wait to get back.

Get out sailing some more, is my advice to all who live with anger and bitterness inside. The sea will always make you feel better.
I for one, liked the blog...good on you guys for actually doing it..

If you like it read it, if you don't read something else and move on with your own life. One thing I can say for these guys, they can take straight talk and come back with a mature and rational response.

Makes it damn hard not to like them.

Nice to see you on the forum again.

The first thread was titled women 28 aboard .... After that who cared. It's marketing with 16 posts it is marketing. Not really cf Contributors. That's the way they cruise good on them. I did a tad satire on this. With no intended disrespect just in fun. Their had been a bunch of look I'm in a bikini sailing threads and I played on it.
Really it's insulting to play I'm the bimbo on the boat in a string thing and body has 28 years on it. They could have done it different but well it wouldn't market so well.
I have heard they are fun good sailors. Good for them.
The omlette thread was killed as it was filled with bad satire no pictures and was on bad taste. it really was bad
But marketing a 28 year old on board a boat in bikini is fine. no contributions to the forum their posts are marketed posts. Mo contribution no dialogue.

I agree.
But we all come here to feed different parts of our sailing passion... knowledge, entertainment, camaraderie.
But it's the spices that make the meal special, and some of them will be hot

Do they contribute experience on cf? Do they share their travels? Did they market on cf? Nothing wrong with this it's all very good and sent out polished advertising. And they do this very well nice pictures well put together it's worth reading.

Re: Stunning blog

I'm very sorry...did someone say something? I'm afraid I became distracted watching this PBS/NOVA documentary on THE FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE whilst eating a crab bisque from Whole Foods with a very fresh baked bread...

Don't you just love the rain?

Re: Stunning blog

Sucks they got slammed so hard it is actually an incredible blog. It is hard when you see a women lie that not to compare your life to theirs and then just be like, "well f this guy". But, yes beautiful people are people too. They are tearing it up and taking some ridiculous photos while they are at it. Just read the text and ignore the photos and then see how you feel. The jealous rage quickly subsides. It is annoying that they were spamming everyone.
