Wintering in the Cape Verde Islands

Hi Thanks for the replies.
We are looking for somewhere warm for the winter or maybe longer. We are both a little tired with the Med sailing bit and thought about going a bit farther South this year Canaries is looking good any ideas on Marina prices and where is good for entertaining kids?

No.. done Portimao.. Madeira.. Faial then 3-4 other islands and jumped off from Terceira for Cascais and back down to the Algarve a couple of times... 6 days... 5 days.. then 8days back to Cascais.. very pleasant couple of months.. happen to think the Azores are awesome in the summer..
