Re: Maps of Marinas

Theres somethin along the lines you are thinking of in Ireland at inyourfootsteps.com.
Very detailed info on entry and harbour info for most harbours and marinas , written by local sail enthuists.
Also a profesional approach in the UK with visitmyharbour.com.
Hope these examples are helpful.

Re: Maps of Marinas

I would suggest that when you get a blurry copy of a marina map ( like the one in Myrtle Beach SC ) that you re draw it with one of the windows apps. That way it is clear and easy to read.

Should be good to go now. Been getting a lot of responses so my inbox filled up but I have cleaned it out now.

Totally agree. I've been getting a bunch of contributions so, right now, I've just been uploading what I've got. I also emailed the marinas to ask for better maps (I was surprised how many don't have maps at all!)

Also i was thinking of trying to meld the NOAA chart info with better 'drawn' maps so we'd have depths, channel markers, etc. What do you think of that idea?
