I have no problem with the boat and income, but a cat, that's a deal breaker for me

This thread reads more like a relationship forum. Typical thread creep. Has anyone had success with the original topic: live-aboard dating?

Well I'm back in the dating scene(dang it) at bit wiser and as a live aboard I feel the field is narrower than if I lived in a stucco box but I know I will find my mate. Damn the torpedoes full speed ahead!

I have multiple pairs of very good friends who say yes.
They also like to taunt me with how good their lives 'together' are.
One couple have even written a book.. "Positions for the v berth."

Though I suspect that the taunting is just my jealousy. ;-)

I posted my experience, some feedback from someone I dated previously who came to visit, and my dockmate one page back back, might've been a bit hard to read or got lost in the chatter, hard to type on the bloody phone sometimes, and my ideas about grammar don't help any I guess.
How much more info do you want? LOL

I will say that I was surprised at the logistical difficulties involved in a small boat and a physical relationship, something that hadn't really come up before with my boat, but with a good sense of humor and some imagination, it all worked out fine, and we're still friends :-)

I cant see a problem with your formosa I went from a v berth without a filler to a queen berth, and yes it is more comfortable but see no difference in my love life. I am still the homeless guy who lives on a boat. '' cant you afford a apt?" And that quote from women who most months cant afford their rent ...go figure

i see that and concur--so i dont even try to date---as a homeless female with a huge boat(still so small, next to a vagabond 47 and a force 50--as i have surrounding me in this anchorage now--LOL)--
