Getting a Survey in the Carribean

Im on passage from Greece to Australia, and recently aware that I will need an updated survey in order to renew my boat insurance on 7th February 2022. I'm planning to be in the Carribean from January to early April, so that seems to be the logical place to obtain the survey, assuming there are the resorces available, hardstanding and a competent surveyor.
Initial landfall is likely in the Lesser Antillers and then in the direction of Panama.
Any recommendations on locations and surveyors?

Re: Getting a Survey in the Carribean

The Caribbean is a big place with lots of islands/countries and lots of surveyors. I'd choose my surveyor depending upon what island I'm on and not the other way around. I've had surveys done in the BVI and St. Martin, but just about every island will have an accredited surveyor for insurance surveys and at an affordable price. Those are qualitatively different surveys from purchase surveys where sometimes it is worth flying in a surveyor you know and trust.

Name an island and you'll get recommendations from members here.
