Glad you made it back in safe and sound John. Hope you find a Doctor, and the ear problem is minor. Sounds like Mel is a real trouper. Best of luck, and fair winds to you and Mel....

Sorry to hear that you’re sick.
Hopefully, a little rest (for BOTH of you) & some good med’s, and you’ll be functional again.
Good luck.

Hi John,
Hope you and Mel are back to 100% real soon. Guys up with the snakes were asking about your welfare as well.

I have hesitated posting anything, because I know nothing, but here's an update to quench the curious of those asking, and sending well wishes. Some videos coming soon.. .... i2f

Thanks for posting the link to your very compelling update, John. I'm sorry to read about the medical problem you're suffering from, but I join all your other admirers here in wishing you and Mel the very best.

Thanks for the update.
We've all been, and remain, worried for/about you.
Best to you both!!!

Thanks for the update.
I just loved the bit about the non English speaking nurse berating you for not speaking Spanish. Cruising is an experience one way or another. Every situation is unbelievable.
All the best. I hope it clears up easily and quickly for you and you can get heading west again.

Thanks for the well wishes. I appreciate the kind words, and thoughts. As I typed sitting here close to the end of the channel for boats exiting the canal. Then entering the Pacific watching them leave is the hardest part for me. This will give me a chance to truly explore Panama, and tidy up Imagine.. ..... i2f

John,
Was in the U.S this past week with a bunch of snake owners. Was talking sailboats and your name came up. I filled them in in general terms about your trials and tribulations, and they all wish you the very best.
You and Mel are important people to many of us.
Find strength in that.

Dang..I2F...
If I could I would send you a one of those thick banded stacks of Franklin's you see in movies to help out....To be rich and able to do things like that would be so rewarding...never meant to be I guess...but I keep day dreaming about good intentions anyway..
All this will pass...hang in there.

I can't post the link from the anchorage. When we get to shore I can post from there to post at Snakes.
Stillraining, Scott
Thanks for the offer of a stack of old Bens, but the well wishes to me is a hell of a lot more important . In my lifetime as crazy as my life has been. I have squeezed out of a lot tighter spots than this one . Between Mel, and the advice that is flowing in. I believe I am in pretty damned good hands. Not to mention very capable hands. Now if I can get my backstay to loosen up a wee bit, so I can adjust them ....... i2f
