Call to vessels cruising from California to Hawai'i April 2024

Aloha, Chris here. I have a 26ft Polynesian inspired cutter rigged voyaging canoe in California and hope to bring her home to Hawai'i in the month of April. Looking for any other vessels who plan on sailing that route to connect with for weather planning, communication, escort or support of any kind. Would be awesome to share in an adventure.

I'm looking at the weather for the trip from oregon down to California and then across to Hawaii. Me and one other plan to sail a 40' trimaran to Hawaii this season. April is a possibility but we were thinking may and possibility even waiting tell January to sail with the pacific cup race.

Presumably only a typo, but The Pacific Cup is in July. I would think May/June would more likely ideal conditions, with July more likely a faster passage. The Pacific Cup fleet has been hit by hurricanes in July, but it is uncommon. Don't let the date slip until August.

You could try starting a group on https://www.noforeignland.com/
though not sure just how people get to hear about it. There are a few crossing groups on there for atlantic / pacific but didn't see any to Hawaii.
